About Us
We aquired our first registered Angus heifer - BHF Merry Pride 126 -in the Spring of 1987 from Brooks Hill Farm in Buffalo, KY. She was a fall of '86 daughter of Waldeck Shocker.
The Spring of '88 we purchased a 4 year old bred cow sired by Progession and bred to Waldeck Shocker - JF Miss Prestone J47. She was bred by Jenkins Farm of Rineyville, KY.
Thus began the basis of Four Star N Angus. These two cows served as the foundation of the herd for the future.
Today at Four Star N Angus we have become more diverse. We still have the same foundation bred offspring that we started with but we've changed as the times have changed. Now you can find Simmental influences along with our purebreds. Take a look at our first group of Simm/Angus offspring that our kids our showing this year, and feel free to ask about what's expected in our next crop of calves.
